Annual ECRA Service, Sunday, Nov. 19

Annual ECRA Service, Sunday, Nov. 19

One of the most beloved and enduring traditions in the Edgewater community is the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service conducted by ECRA, the Edgewater Community Religious Association.

It is a time when we come together to celebrate our diversity and give thanks for all we have.

Care for Real is honored and fortunate to be the beneficiary of the special collection taken at this service These donations enable us to make Thanksgiving dinner possible for hundreds of our clients.

This year, the service will be held Sunday, November 19, 3:00pm-5:00pm at North Shore Baptist Church, 5244 North Lakewood with choirs joining in song from participating congregations.

Care for Real seeks healthier food options for our clients!

Care for Real seeks healthier food options for our clients!

Care for Real is making an effort to not only “fill bellies” but to do so in a healthier more nutritious way.

As the majority of clients turning to Care or Real include seniors and families with children under the age of 18, we are seeking food donations to help ensure our clients are living healthier lifestyles. This coincides with our “client choice” food distribution model that allows folks to pick and choose the food they receive from Care for Real.
