Additional Resources

Care for Real has expanded it’s core mission of providing food to our neighbors in the Edgewater community by adding a free clothing closet, pet food distribution and a job readiness program. We recognize that our neighbors have many other needs beyond these programs and provide the following links as a source for additional assistance. Other providers may be available, but we have focused our information on listings which are in or near the Edgewater neighborhood. By providing the information below, Care for Real does not endorse or validate the listings nor does it constitute a qualified referral by Care for Real.

When using the listed resources, please make sure you:

  • Check any qualifying requirements by the organization
  • Contact the organization to ensure they still offer the listed services
  • Verify the organization’s location and hours of operation
  • Notify Care for Real of any changes or errors at info at careforreal.org.
